Medieval Christmas Dinner and Show Returning to Christman Hall

Returning for a second year, Stambaugh Auditorium will host a Christmas Madrigal Dinner and Show on December 7th performed by Tapestries of Ohio. Due to ticket demand, this year two times will be offered. Tickets for both the 1:00 PM and 6:30 PM performance are $40 and on sale now through the Florence and Ward Beecher Box Office at Stambaugh Auditorium.

U.S. Air Force Heritage of America Concert Band Coming this Fall

The USAF Heritage of America Concert Band is coming to Stambaugh Auditorium on November 18, 7:30 PM. For six decades, the USAF Heritage of America Concert Band has educated, inspired, and entertained over 1.5 million people annually. The Concert Band is comprised of over 40 professional Airman-musicians who captivate audiences on regular tours throughout the East Coast with a variety of renditions of great orchestral classics, marches, Broadway hits, jazz standards, movie music, and patriotic favorites.

Stambaugh Auditorium receives $25,000 grant towards Monumental Staircase Restoration Project

Stambaugh Auditorium has received a grant of $25,000 from The Charles W. Darling Family Endowment Fund of The Youngstown Foundation to support the Monumental Staircase and Façade Restoration Project. The purpose of the Stambaugh Auditorium Monumental Staircase Replacement and Façade Restoration Project is to return the monumental staircase, grand entrance and promenade to its original splendor. This project is to ensure that the architectural and historical significance of Stambaugh Auditorium is preserved for years to come. Stambaugh Auditorium has undertaken a capital campaign to raise the nearly $5 million necessary to complete the project.

Celtic Woman to bring Best of Christmas Tour to Stambaugh Auditorium

Stambaugh Auditorium will present Celtic Woman: The Best of Christmas Tour on Thursday, December 19th, at 7:30pm. Celebrate this holiday season with the multi-platinum international music sensation’s eighth annual “Symphony Tour.” The show will feature music from the all-female ensemble’s much-loved holiday releases, such as the platinum selling, A Christmas Celebration and Deck The Halls, all accompanied by a live symphony orchestra.

Christian Music Vocalist, David Phelps, returns to Stambaugh Auditorium with Grammy Award Winner, Sandi Patty

Stambaugh Auditorium will present David Phelps and Sandi Patty on Tuesday, October 3rd for a 7:30 PM show. Now a solo artist, Phelps served as a member of the prestigious Gaither Vocal Band for more than 15 years, in that time he received numerous Dove and Grammy Awards. Sandi Patty is the most awarded female vocalist in contemporary Christian music history and a 2004 inductee of the Gospel Music Hall of Fame.

The Drama of Shakespeare, The Music of Verdi, Presented this November

On Friday, November 15 at 7:30 p.m. Opera Western Reserve (OWR) will present Verdi’s Macbeth. Based on the famous Shakespearean tragedy, Verdi’s Macbeth follows the rise to power of an increasingly paranoid Scottish general and the bloody prophesies steering his fate. After receiving glimpses of the future, Macbeth embarks on a murderous path to the throne, urged on by his wife’s unscrupulous ambition. Losing himself to delusion and paranoia, Macbeth struggles to escape his destiny.

Summer Line-up Announced for Stambaugh Auditorium’s B@B: After Dark

The seventh season of B@B (Bands at the Baugh) will return to the Garden at Stambaugh Auditorium for three dates this
summer. B@B: After Dark will feature local music, a cash bar, and food selections. The Thursday evening event kicks off on
June 20th at 7:00 PM featuring The Shootouts with Marc Lee Shannon. Howard and the Point Five Band will return on July
18th, followed by Hoss & the Juggernauts on August 15th. Tickets are on sale now at the Florence and Ward Beecher Box
