| The Stambaugh Youth Concert Band (SYCB) will be holding auditions for students who did not participate in the Fall of 2020. New Student Auditions for the Spring 2021 ensembles will be held on January 12, 2021, from 5:30pm – 8:30pm. Students who participated in SYCB during the Fall of 2020 are not required to audition again for Spring 2021. General Requirements for SYCB students: Student must be: A member in good standing of their high school instrumental music program In grades 9 through 12, consideration given to 8th graders Recommended by their high school band director Home school students must be recommended by private teacher Students selected will follow all guidelines, rules, and regulations of SYCB Students joining SYCB for the spring only will be responsible for a $50.00 fee. Students are required to bring the personnel form to their audition, the form should be completed and signed. The Spring 2021 Schedule is as follows: January 26, 2021 – first rehearsal from 6:00pm – 8:30pm February 2, 9, 16, 23, March 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, April 6 – weekly rehearsals from 6:00pm – 8:30pm April 11, 2021 – SYCB dress rehearsal from 6:00pm – 9:00pm April 13, 2021 – SYCB Spring Concert Seniors who audition on January 12 and are accepted will be eligible to audition for a senior solo. Anyone who wishes to do so, should sign up for a senior solo audition time when they sign up for their SYCB audition. |
