Welcome to the 20th Season of the Henry H. Stambaugh Youth Concert Band (SYCB). Auditions will be held for wind and percussion musicians at Stambaugh Auditorium on Tuesday, September 7 from 5-9 PM and Tuesday, September 14 from 5-9 PM.

September 21, 2021 – parent meeting and first fall semester SYCB rehearsal from 6:00pm to 8:30pm.
September 28, October 5, 12, 19, 26, November 2 – weekly SYCB rehearsals from 6:00pm to 8:30pm
November 14, 2021 – SYCB dress rehearsal from 6:00pm to 9:00pm
November 16, 2021 – SYCB Fall Concert
Please invite other wind and percussion students that you know whom you feel would be a good addition to the Stambaugh Youth Concert Band. Please see the general requirements below.
General Requirements:
Student must be:
A member in good standing of their high school instrumental music program
In grades 9 through 12, consideration given to 8th graders
Recommended by their high school band director
Home school students must be recommended by a private teacher
Students are required to bring the signed personnel form to their audition
Students selected will follow all guidelines, rules, and regulations of SYCB
Students becoming members of SYCB will be responsible for an $85.00 fee for the 2021 / 2022 school year.
A required student/parent meeting will be held Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at 6:00 pm in the Concert Hall at Stambaugh Auditorium. The meeting is to discuss procedures and expectations for all students participating in SYCB. The meeting will also be livestreamed for those parents unable to attend in person.
