The Three Little Pigs return to Stambaugh Auditorium, presented by OWR Young Artists

On Sunday, March 15th at 2:00 in the afternoon, the Young Artists of Opera Western Reserve will present The Three Little Pigs in the Jeanne D. Tyler Grand Ballroom at Stambaugh Auditorium. Tickets for this event are $7, including service fees, and on sale now through the Florence and Ward Beecher Box Office.

This operatic version of the classic tale will be performed by the Opera Western Reserve Young Artists and set to music by Mozart with adaptation by John Davies. Exhausted by the Big Bad Wolf’s attempts to blow her house down, one of the three little pigs makes her way to the library to research how to prevent the Wolf from succeeding. Will this smart little pig figure it out? Students have the opportunity to ask questions of the performers after the program.

The Opera Western Reserve Young Artists travel around the tri-county area to perform at local schools. Their regular programs include “Fun with Opera,” which is an interactive performance where students help to create the scenario for a one-of-a-kind improvised opera. For more information or to book a reservation, contact Lynn Ohle at 330-480-0693 or admasst@operawesternreserve.org.
