YOUNGSTOWN, OH (July 7, 2025): It’s not a concert… it’s a party! On December 4, 2025, Stambaugh Auditorium will come alive with the sounds of rock & roll and doo-wop royalty as three legendary groups – Cornell Gunter’s Coasters, The Drifters, & The Platters take the stage for an unforgetable evening of music and memories. These iconic Rock & Roll Hall of Fame groups helped shape the golden era of American music, and between them, they’ve recorded more than 40 of the most recognizable and enduring songs in history.

Cornell Gunter’s Coasters will open the night with their signature blend of comedy, charisma, and crowd-pleasing hits including “Yakety Yak”, “Charlie Brown”, and “Poison Ivy”. The Drifters, one of rock & roll’s original vocal powerhouses, return to the road under their original management team, delivering soul-stirring classics like “Under the Boardwalk”, Up on the Roof”, “This Magic Moment”, and “On Broadway”. The PLatters, featuring four of America’s premier vocalists, will bring their timeless romantic ballads to life with songs like “Only You”, “Smoke Gets In Your Eyes”, and “The Great Pretender”. 

From doo-wop harmonies and Motown magic to Rock & Roll rhythm, this evening promises something for everyone. Doors will open at 6:30pm on December 4, 2025, with showtime at 7:30pm.

Presale will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2025. Sales to the general public begin on Friday, July 11, 2025. Tickets will be available at stambaughauditorium.com or through the YourArts box office at 330-259-9651. Tickets will be priced as follows: $70, $60, and $45 plus a $7 fee per ticket.
