Medieval Christmas Dinner and Show Returning to Christman Hall

For Immediate Release:

Returning for a second year, Stambaugh Auditorium will host a Christmas Madrigal Dinner and Show on December 7th performed by Tapestries of Ohio. Due to ticket demand, this year two times will be offered. Tickets for both the 1:00 PM and 6:30 PM performance are $40 and on sale now through the Florence and Ward Beecher Box Office at Stambaugh Auditorium.

Dinner will be served in the Anne K. Christman Hall, featuring roasted pork, herb-crusted chicken, potato medley, wild rice blend, and strawberry rhubarb crisp. Beverages will be provided; a cash bar will be available.

Characters will sing the songs and tell the story of the first Christmas. Period songs from the 15th through 17th centuries, costumes, and an authentic dining experience recreate the mood of a Madrigal celebration.
