Richard Marx is coming to Stambaugh Auditorium on Sunday, September 24th. This show is welcomed by Mix 98.9.

Singer, songwriter and producer, Richard Marx, released his self-titled debut album in 1987 providing hit singles such as “Hold on to the Nights” and “Don’t Mean Nothing.” After earning a Grammy nomination for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance, the 1989 follow-up album Repeat Offender expanded Marx’s success with two #1 singles “Satisfied” and most popular “Right Here Waiting.” Marx continued his seven-year run of achievements with 4 multi-platinum albums and over 30 million albums sold worldwide.

Marx started the next chapter in his musical career as a songwriter and producer, with songs like “To Where You Are” the first hit single from Josh Groban, as well as *NSYNC’s 2000 love ballad “This I Promise You.” In 2004, Marx won a Song of the Year Grammy for co-authoring Luther Vandross’ “Dance with My Father.” Marx has written across all genres of music for stars such as Jennifer Nettles, Keith Urban, Barbra Streisand, Vince Gill, Kenny Loggins, 98 Degrees, Sister Hazel, Kenny Rogers and others.
