The
concert hall consists of 2554 seats on three levels;
1372 on the main
floor, 764 on the balcony
level, and 418 in the gallery.
The proscenium stage is fifty-eight feet wide and thirty-nine
feet deep. The main stage holds a Steinway Concert
Grand "D", A Model "B" is located
in the Christman Memorial Hall and another Steinway
Model "B" is located in the Grand Ballroom. There is no fly gallery. New
state of the art lighting and sound equipment enhance
productions in a hall considered by many artists to
have superlative natural acoustics. A coffered ceiling,
Corinthian
columns and ornate chandeliers add to the beauty of
the hall. Concerts, lectures, dance competitions, graduations,
seminars, religious services, style shows, school programs
and performances of all types are held here. |
