Stambaugh Youth Band

In its 8th full year is the Stambaugh Youth Concert Band. Made up of eighty to one hundred top high school musicians from Northeastern Ohio and Northwestern Pennsylvania, the band rehearses Tuesday evenings from October to May and puts on two concerts annually. Membership in the organization is possible through auditions. The quality of musicianship is high, and competition for first chair positions is keen. Directors from Youngstown State University are in charge of the band. It will soon be available to play at public functions.
